Opening Address: Jacob Westberg, Associate Professor in War Studies at the Swedish Defence University, on Idealism and Realism in Sweden’s Security Strategies Before and After the NATO Membership.
Speakers
Jann Kleffner, Professor of International Law at the Swedish Defence University, will address implications for collective self-defence and article 5 of the Washington Treaty;
Pål Wrange, Professor of International Law at Stockholm University and Director of SCILJ, will address the Defence Cooperation Agreement between Sweden and the United States;
Marika Ericson, Head of the Department of International and Operational Law at the Swedish Defence University, will address developments in the domestic legal system.
